This is Your Year to Discover Bernina

Our Anniversary. Your year.

You'll find a lot to celebrate at your Bernina Dealer, including sales, free gifts and incentives - not to mention great opportunities to try all the Bernina machines. There's a Bernina for every sewing artist, whether you're expert or beginner, or you sew garments, home decorations, crafts, or quilts. And your Bernina Dealer is an important member of the Bernina family. They're with you all along the way, offering you a lifetime of support, classes, and community. So, make this the year to visit your local Bernina Dealer. There's so much to discover inside.

NEW! NEW! NEW!

Bernina 830. It's a big secret until July 21 when Bernina will introduce its spectacular new top-of-the-line Bernina 830. Stop by in August and take a look.

CALCULATE BORDERS PERFECTLY, THEN EMBROIDER THEM

The border calculation software lets you accurately determine the number of repeats and the placement of the designs for your own personal fabric dimensions - so embroidering borders is child's play and success is guaranteed. After the calculation is carried out, you'll know exactly how many designs of what size will fit on your embroidery project. The border calculation software performs your calculations for all borders - straight, round, oval, or rectangular borders, with the latter being created through the insertion of corner patterns available for a range of different borders.

FELTING

Felting is an old handicraft technique made much easier with a sewing machine. Simply replace your presser foot and needle with the Bernina Needle Punch and remove the CB hook from your machine. Set in a circle, the Bernina Needle Punch's five eyeless barbed needles pierce the fibers and secure them in the base fabric. You can felt with yarns, embroidery wool, wool- or wool-mix fibers, chenille or polyester - on wool, felt, denim or other cotton materials. They yarn is worked into the base fabric, thereby creating - with the sewing machine, but without sewing - a new fabric: felt. What could be simpler, more decorative, or more original?
