Shared Threads Quilt Shop is an individually owned and operated shop located in Arvada, Colorado near the beautiful foothills of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Easy to find, we are within minutes of I-70 and the Kipling exit.

For the owner, Judy Lumberg, opening a quilt shop was the realization of a lifelong dream, inspired by the love of people and the love of sewing. Our shop motto is, "we thrive on serving others." Excellent service and customer satisfaction is our top priority.

The owner of Shared Threads is a seasoned quilter, who has been teaching quilt classes for ten years and quilting customer quilts since 1998. Her quilting talents have been showcased on quilts in Quiltmaker Magazine, in the book Four Blocks Say More, as well as at local quilt shows and contests including the Capitol Show, Quilt A Fair, and the 20th Annual Exhibition of Quilts and Fine Woodworking. She has been the recipient of a 1st Place and 2nd Place ribbon for quilts entered in Quilt Colorado in the last two years.

In addition to her quilting talents, she is skilled in the ability to select colors and offers assistance daily to the shop's students and patrons on how to read fabric and make the most of their color choices.
